Cookies according to this recipe remain fresh and crumbly for a long time, they just melt in your mouth. Optionally, you can substitute margarine for butter, but not a spread. Try not to increase the heat, as the baked goods may remain soggy on the inside!
Prepare the indicated ingredients.
Pour kefir into a deep container, beat in a chicken egg, add salt and 80 grams of sugar. Whisk everything.
Melt the butter and pour into a container, mix everything gently.
Add wheat flour, baking powder and knead the dough. Add some vanilla sugar for flavor if desired.
Cover the dough with cling film or a towel. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
Mix sugar with ground cinnamon in a separate container.
Divide the dough into balls of the same size and roll not too long flagella out of them. Connect the edges of the flagella, wetting them with water so that they do not open. If the dough sticks to your hands, grease your hands with vegetable or butter. Dip each flagellum in cinnamon sugar.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place the sugar rings on a baking sheet greased with unscented vegetable oil. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 25 minutes, on the top shelf.
When the cookies are browned, remove them from the oven and cool.
Place browned pastries on a plate and serve with tea or coffee. Bon Appetit!
