Coffee liqueur at home
Description of the preparation:
Coffee liqueur can be stored for a long time in the refrigerator, but it must be kept for 2 weeks in a dark, cool place so that the drink incorporates the whole bouquet of flavors. The strength of the liquor is usually about 13-15%, so ladies prefer this drink, especially with sweets.
Prepare the indicated ingredients.
Pour ground coffee into a jar or other deep container. Boil water and pour 500 ml into a container. boiling water, brew coffee for 10-15 minutes, thoroughly mixing the contents of the container. Be sure to cover with a lid or saucer.
Pour granulated sugar into a saucepan or stewpan, pour the remaining 100 ml. boiling water and place the container on the stove. Cook sugar syrup for 3-4 minutes until light caramel color, remembering to stir the contents of the container.
Strain the brewed coffee through a fine-mesh strainer, removing the grounds. A small residue of thick will be present in the liquor at the bottom – this is normal!
Pour coffee into a jar or a high capacity, pour all the sugar syrup into it. Mix thoroughly and cool to room temperature.
Pour in the vodka. Get high-quality alcohol so that after tasting the liquor you do not feel an unpleasant aftertaste! Close the container with a lid, mix thoroughly and place in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks. Shake the contents of the container every 2 days.
After the specified time, coffee liquor can be poured into a decanter and glasses.
