Christmas Lemon Cupcake – a step-by-step recipe with photos on Cook.ru
Description of the preparation:
The recipe is designed for a small form, 20 cm in diameter. If you cook for a large company, take a larger form and multiply by 2 the amount of all ingredients. The cupcake rises strongly during baking, therefore, fill the form to half.
Prepare the ingredients.

Separate the whites from the yolks. We cool proteins.
Mix the yolks with sugar.

Add softened butter and mix.

Pour the flour.

Remove the zest from the lemon. Squeeze the juice from half the lemon and add it to the dough along with the zest.

Add vanilla sugar, turmeric and baking powder. Knead the dough.

Add salt to chilled proteins and beat with a mixer. Add whipped proteins to the dough and mix gently.

We shift the dough into the form. Bake at a temperature of 170-180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Cooking the icing. Squeeze juice out of half a lemon and add powdered sugar into it. Mix. Cool the finished cake and cover it with icing.

You can add cupcake with strawberry jam before serving. Have a nice tea party!
