Chicken liver goes well with bell pepper. Use chilled liver and red bell peppers for the recipe – they are bright and delicious. A satisfying and nutritious dish is obtained from the minimum amount of food.
Prepare all ingredients.
Rinse the liver, dry it on napkins, cut off the fat ducts. Cut the chicken liver into medium pieces.
Cut the peeled onion into half rings.
Peel the pepper and cut into medium strips.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add onion and sauté for a couple of minutes until transparent and light golden brown.
Stir in the chicken liver.
Add pepper next.
Fry the chicken liver and pepper, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour in water and simmer for 5-7 minutes over low heat, covered.
