Description of the preparation:
Chicken liver pate is a great alternative to purchased sausage. Such an appetizer increases hemoglobin, so it is safely included in the menu of diabetics and children. You can prepare a paste with the addition of chicken breast, mushrooms, nuts or prunes – the options are striking in their variety. My recipe is everyday and budget, such a paste is prepared at home quickly and easily. Use the paste to fill the tartlets on the festive table, and as simple as a spread for everyday sandwiches.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Dice the onion. Grate the carrots.
Sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil until tender.
Add chopped liver and chopped garlic.
Add salt to taste and simmer all together occasionally stirring for about 10-15 minutes, until the liver is fully cooked.
Transfer the fried liver with vegetables into a deep bowl and cool slightly.
Add butter and pepper to taste.
Grind the ingredients with a hand blender. The paste mass will become airy and tender. Adjust to salt, pepper, refrigerate and serve.
