Cereal buns – a step by step recipe with a photo on

More on how to make cereal buns below. Oat flakes must be added, you can take small or large flakes. You can replace flax seeds with sesame, pumpkin or sunflower seeds. Or make a mix of all of the above. The inside of the buns is soft, but crispy. It contains no eggs or dairy products, so the recipe is suitable for lean and vegan diets.

Prepare all ingredients.

Dissolve the yeast with sugar in warm water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cover with plastic wrap and set for 15 minutes.

Sift flour, mix with salt.

Add flax and oatmeal. Stir.

Pour in vegetable oil, rub with your hands.

Then pour in the dough and knead the dough until it becomes soft and elastic.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap, remove to a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Roll the risen dough with a roller, then divide into 4 parts.

Roll buns out of them, make cuts crosswise. Cover them with a towel and let rise for 15 minutes. Bake the buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about half an hour.
