Below I will tell you more about how to make seed buns. Instead of sunflower seeds, you can take pumpkin seeds. You may need less or more flour, so add it gradually as you cook the dough. Buns are great for breakfast or a lunchtime snack.
Prepare all ingredients.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add vegetable oil, oatmeal, seeds and sesame seeds. Stir.
Sift rye and wheat flour together with salt. Add to a bowl and knead to a smooth, soft and slightly sticky dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and store in a warm place for 1 hour.
The dough should double in size.
Hump the dough. Shape into buns of the desired size. Cover them with a towel and leave to rise for 20-30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Sprinkle the risen buns with water, make crosswise cuts with a sharp knife. Bake for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 190 degrees and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
Buns with seeds are ready, bon appetit!
