Buns with poppy seeds and chocolate are made simply from the classic butter, yeast dough. It is very convenient to use ready-made poppy filling that is sold in the store. But it's easy to cook it yourself. Poppy and chocolate lovers should love these buns.
Prepare the ingredients for making buns.
Crumble the tremors into a bowl, add warm milk, 4 tablespoons of sugar, salt. Melt the butter, chill a little and pour into a bowl with the listed ingredients.
Add the sifted flour.
Use a mixer or by hand to knead an elastic, soft, non-sticky dough.
Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover with a towel or cling film. Send to a warm place.
In an hour and a half, the dough will increase in volume by 3-4 times.
Put the dough on the table, wrinkle and roll into a rectangular layer 3-5 mm thick.
Prepare the bun filling. Put the poppy in a saucepan, pour in 100-150 ml. water. Bring to a boil, boil for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the water and add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar. Use a mortar or blender to beat the poppy seeds and sugar. I already had the poppy filling ready. Spread the filling over the dough.
Then roll the dough with poppy seeds into a roll.
Cut the roll into 4-5 cm wide pieces.
Place the rolls in a baking dish.
Let the buns stand 25-30 minutes apart. Then brush with an egg and send to the oven, preheated to 175-180 degrees.
Bake the buns for 35-40 minutes. The baking time depends on your oven.
Chill the finished buns a little and pour over the chocolate melted in a water bath or in the microwave. The buns are ready. Can be served at the table.
