Berries are best when ripe and soft. To make it easier to grind the thorn through a sieve or colander, after cooling, put on gloves and manually select the bones very carefully. Then punch the mass with a blender. It is best to cook the jam in a stainless steel dish with a thick bottom.
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make your thorn jam for the winter.
Sort the thorns, removing petioles, debris and spoiled berries.
Put the berries in a stainless steel bowl and pour in the water. Put on fire and simmer over medium heat for 20-30 minutes to completely soften the berries. Rub the berries through a sieve or colander, removing seeds and skins.
Put the sugar in the sloe puree and stir.
Put everything on low heat and cook for 40-60 minutes to the desired consistency.
Spread the jam in sterilized, dry jars, close and store in a dry and dark place.
