Beef goulash "Soviet" – a step-by-step recipe with photos on Cook.ru

Description of the preparation:

"Soviet" goulash can be prepared from pork or beef. In this case, we have beef – aromatic, lean and tasty meat. Cooking such meat is not very fast, so plan ahead and free up your time. But the time spent will be worth it. Hot goulash with a side dish is a truly exquisite home-made dish that everyone will love. After lunch, put the remaining goulash in the refrigerator, it will be stored for several days, so you can safely warm it up for dinner.

Prepare the ingredients.

Rinse the beef and cut it into strips for goulash.

Fry the beef in a saucepan with a mixture of vegetable and butter. Fry over high heat to make the meat brown. Stir occasionally so as not to burn.

Pour the flour mixture into the goulash and add the tomato paste. Stew the goulash over low heat for another 10-15 minutes, until the gravy thickens. Goulash is ready. Beef should be very soft.
