Description of the preparation:
Cooking bagels is not a big deal. They will not take much time. Choose the filling to taste, but with the lowest liquid content, then baking will delight you with its taste and appearance.
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Dissolve 1 tablespoon in warm milk. sugar, salt and yeast.
Add the egg, half the indicated amount of vegetable oil. Stir well.
Add the flour in parts. Kneading the dough, pour in the remaining vegetable oil.
Knead soft dough, roll into a ball. Put in the bowl, tighten with foil. Leave to rise for 1.5 hours in a warm place.
Make the filling while raising the dough. Pour dry poppy into the stewpan, add 2 tbsp. sugar and water to cover the poppy. Put on a slow fire and stir, boil until the liquid evaporates completely. After cool.
The dough is ready for cutting.
Divide the dough into three equal parts.
Take one part and roll it into a 0.5 cm thick layer. Cut it into 8 sectors.
From the side of the acute angle, make two cuts. Spread the filling.
Take one sector, bend the corners of the wide side inward into the workpiece.
Spin the bagel.
Do the same with the remaining dough. Put prepared bagels on a baking sheet covered with food parchment. Turn on the oven 180 degrees. Put to bake for 20-25 minutes, until ruddy.
Remove the finished bagels from the oven and cool slightly on the baking sheet.
Sprinkle bagels with icing sugar.
