Description of the preparation:
Preparing an Asian pilaf is very simple. If you want rice to be crumbly, then rinse it well from starch, changing the water 7-8 times. According to this recipe, pilaf is tasty, aromatic and non-greasy. If you like fatter, then double the amount of sunflower oil.
Prepare the ingredients for cooking pilaf.
Wash the veal, cut into pieces and put in a saucepan or pan with a thick bottom.
Pour in 20 ml. refined sunflower oil and fry the meat until light golden brown.
Peel and wash the carrots and onions. Cut the carrots into strips, and the onion in half rings. Put in a pan with meat.
Pour another 25-30 ml. sunflower oil and simmer vegetables with meat under the lid for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt, turmeric and zira.
Rice thoroughly wash in 7-8 waters. After pour hot water for 25-30 minutes. Salt to taste.
Put the rice evenly on the meat with carrots and onions. Pour hot water so that it is higher than rice by a finger and a half. Turn on the fire just above average and cook pilaf until all the water on top and along the edges of the rice boils, but remains below.
After the rice, collect a slide from the edge to the middle. Make a few holes in the rice to the bottom of the pan to let off steam. Now cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the pilaf for another 20-25 minutes.
Mix the prepared pilaf and let it brew for 30-35 minutes.
Wonderful Asian pilaf is ready. Can be served.
