Have you already tried all types of apple charlotte? Then make French apple tatin. It can be prepared in various ways, the dough can be shortbread or flaky, as in this recipe.
Prepare your ingredients.
Pour sugar into a skillet or saucepan in a layer no more than 1 cm.Put on low heat, do not stir, until the sugar begins to caramelize.
As soon as the sugar begins to caramelize, add the butter and stir in the sugar mass.
Pour the caramel mass onto a sheet of parchment, smooth out with a thin layer. The butter that has not interfered with the caramel can be drained off to be used later for the filling.
While the caramel is solidifying, peel and core the apples. Cut into very thin slices.
Break the caramel into pieces.
Place the caramel in a blender bowl.
Grind the caramel into a powder.
For baking tatin, you can use a very different form, in which caramel-apples-caramel are laid out in layers, and so on.
Cut a circle out of the puff pastry plate to a suitable size.
Place the dough on top of the apples, carefully tuck the edges of the dough inward. Puncture the top with a fork. Bake the tatin at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Turn the finished tatin with the apple filling upside down, do it carefully, as hot syrup forms during the baking process. It is appropriate to serve a scoop of ice cream with tatin. Enjoy your meal!
