Beans pour water for 10-12 hours. Then rinse, add fresh water and bring to a boil, drain again and pour hot water over two fingers above the level of the beans.

The dish is considered ready when the liquid is evaporated and it thickens, but should not be dry. Prebranac tastes better when it is cold.
