Preparation of lean carrot cutlets begin with the preparation of the main ingredient. So, clean the carrots and onions, wash them under water.
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrot. Heat a little vegetable oil in a hot skillet and fry. Then add chopped carrots to onions. Fry the vegetable mixture for 10 minutes over medium heat. It is important to constantly mix the mixture.
When the vegetables are soft, add water, salt, sugar and pepper to them. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Next, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
During this time, the carrot will have time to prepare. Add semolina to vegetables, mix everything thoroughly and cover again. Stew for 15 minutes. When the semolina mixes with the ingredients and dissolves, let the mixture cool.
From the cooled mixture form patties, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Cover the cutlets with a lid and let them stand for 10 minutes. Carrot cutlets with semolina ready, bon appetit!
