For cooking baked cabbage you will need:
Young cabbage – 2 heads
Carrots – 2 pcs.
Leek (only the white part) – 1 pc.
Cream 22% fat – 250 ml
Vegetable oil – 2-3 tablespoons
Bread crumbs – 0.5 cup
Hard cheese – 100 g
Garlic – – 2 cloves
Eggs – 2 pcs
Salt, pepper – to taste
Prepare vegetables: leek, wash, cut into rings, clean the carrots, dry them and grate, garlic – clean and chop. Clean the cabbage from the upper leaves and cut it into four pieces each head. Hard boiled eggs.
In a well heated pan, fry the onion and carrot. When the vegetables have a golden hue, add garlic, bread crumbs and cream to them. Salt, pepper and cook for another three minutes, until the cream thickens. Boiled hard-boiled eggs and cut into the sauce. In a separate pan, fry the cabbage, about three minutes on each side.
The dish is almost ready, you just have to bring it in the oven. Grease a deep pan or baking dish with butter. Lay on the bottom of roasted cabbage, stalks down. Pour over the sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 C. Cabbage is ready! Enjoy your meal!
