Description of preparation:
Thick, sweet and sour viburnum sauce is prepared simply and quickly. If you want to stock up with the sauce for the winter, then put it in sterilized jars, cover and place in a saucepan for sterilization. 200 ml jars. need to be sterilized for 10-15 minutes. Store the sauce in a cool place.
The main ingredient:
Berries / Viburnum
Prepare the ingredients for the preparation of viburnum sauce.
Send the berries of viburnum for an hour or two in the freezer to remove the bitterness.
Remove the berries of viburnum from the branches.
Pour boiling water over viburnum berries for 5 minutes to make them softer.
Drain and mashed the berries.
The net weight of the puree is approximately 150-170 grams.
Add sugar to the berry puree.
As well as salt, vegetable oil and red pepper.
Pour the sauce into a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook on low heat for 5 minutes until thickened. Cool the prepared sauce and pour it into the gravy boat.
Viburnum sauce is ready. Can be served.
